Mix up your favorite vanilla or plain Greek yogurt with some chocolate protein powder. Pour it into Dixie cups, and stick popsicle sticks in them. Then freeze them, and you’ll have perfectly portioned, delicious protein pops whenever you need them. Speaking of all the things you want to do this summer, why don’t you make a bucket list for the summer? Instead of a list of things you want to do before you die, though, this list will be all the things you want to do before summer kicks the bucket.
Start by sitting down and brainstorming about the cool things you mean to do every summer, like taking a kayak tour around Long Island, doing an outdoor fitness boot camp or yoga class, or going to the beach at least once a week. After you have your list, it’s time to get your calendar out. Look at the time you can take off work, when you’ll be free during the week, and what weekends you’ll be able to get away and do more. Then pencil in all of your fun activities.
You don’t have to stick to your summer fun calendar or check everything off of your summer bucket list, but penciling things in on your calendar will make them feel more real and concrete. And you’ll be less likely to put those fun activities off until it’s too late. Plus, if you look at your calendar and see that you’re supposed to go to the beach next weekend, you can start inviting friends to go with you now. Before you know it, you’ll have a whole crew ready to hit the shore with you!
